About Old Chamber Bed & Breakfast

The house, in the hamlet of Old Chamber, was once a working farm barn with attached cottages, which have been refurbished to show the beautiful Yorkshire stone and beams.

The B & B is run by Julie with occasional help from her friendly neighbours. There is one double room and an adjoining sitting room with a TV, which can be used with the fold-away bed for a child.

We welcome walkers and mountain bikers - there's a large, secure garage where you can lock up your boots and bikes, and plenty of room to park your car.

The Pennine hills and valleys around Hebden Bridge have long been popular with visitors. Walking and cycling are popular activities, whether just strolling along a riverside path, or following the stone causeways ("causeys") that mark old packhorse routes.

Britain's first National Trail, the Pennine Way, passes close by, while the Calderdale Way, a 50-mile (80 km) circular route around the Calder Valley, skirts the town. A growing network of bridleways makes excellent mountain-biking and horse-riding routes, including the newly-opened Mary Towneley Loop, part of the Pennine Bridleway.
